This July, the International Youth Summit on Energy and Climate Change is returning with more energy and enthusiasm than ever before! Three well-established youth organizations -- China Youth Climate Action Network (CYCAN), Tsinghua University Student Green Association (TUSGA) and Clean Development Mechanism Club (CDM Club) from Peking University -- are again working together to initiate a "greenstorm" that is unique to youths who are interested in sharing environmental dreams with peers around the world. Since 2009, the past four IYSECC attracted thousands of active youths across the continents.       The Summit has arranged a range of interesting and inspiring sessions. With presentations by renowned leaders, discussions with international environmentalists, training sessions on campaign skills that gives you tools to create change and a Creative Green Solution competition that allows you to show off your talents --  this summit will offer a platform to showcase the proud progress our young generation has made in the green revolution, a communicative forum that connect youths in green action nationally and globally and so much more!       If you love the environment, or if you are interested in doing anything green, this is a summit you simply can't miss!   The Theme of this Summer: Green Leads the Future -- Youth Sustainable Education and Action IYSECC 5.0 sets its theme as "Green Leads the Future" to emphasize the key role of green movements in future development while disseminating the fresh idea of "green-collar" career among young people. Environmental change calls for youth commitment to relevant industries. Meanwhile, the youth need to build up confidence in the prospects of these sustainable businesses. The green industries will be a promising frontier for both on-campus involvement and career planning.   Make a Global Connection: Shifting the Power The first time in five years, this summit will actually be part of a larger "Global Power Shift" network, which gathers young people and calls for them to shift the power and realize their own potentials in the green revolutions. As a regional Power Shift sector of the global network, we will lead a campaign session for a low-carbon campus and working places. You will go home with all the resources needed to carry out your own green events and campaigns, and become connected to an invaluable international network that is ready the support you anytime you need.
